Credit score dropped when it's not really my faults

I do auto pay for my credit card bill with Chase everymonth and I recently found out that my credit score was dropped due to late payment with Chase. I called Chase and they informed me that for some reason, their website shows that I was no longer in the auto payment option. I have been paying the bill on time each time and I was not awared that I was dropped from the auto pay option. Is this something that I can argue or there is no way to fix this but to just wait a few years to improve my score again? Please help.

Did the payments go through to Chase even though you had been dropped from the auto-pay. If you can document that you paid, then you have no worries. A certified, detailed letter to Chase, should do the trick. If that doesn't work you have a good legal case.
