does the dental insurance work for childrens braces?

Hi rgangwash,

my 11 year old son needs braces on his teeth. Would Aflac dental
insurance benefit me?

Yes it would if your child can wait 2 years. Aflac has waiting periods. For a plan that has no waiting periods, see http://MySimpleCard.com

I doubt it would help, at least not immediately. Insurance co's protect themselves against losing money. I have read of a plan though that can save you $1000-$2000 on braces instantly here:
