I come to this as a real estate agent, with years of experience dealing with clients -- but I'm just commenting on insurance, not selling it.

Let's start with some basic questions for you to ask your agent:

If my house burns down, am I insured for its value (less expensive) or replacement cost (more expensive)?

What's my deductible?

Do I have liability coverage as well as coverage in case my roof falls in?

I hope that helps.

Is this helpful?
