Apply for any type of loan that would be offered to you, if your application is denied ,so be it.

I agree with Brain Actually. There are not many loans out there for poor credit borrrowers. If you have above a 620 and can meet the income requirements you might be able to purchase it with an FHA loan. There are still property requirements and judging fromt the price it might need some repairs. Another option is to see if the seller's with sell to you on a contract or through seller financing. If they are really anxious to get out of the property you could see if that is a possibility. Hi Felicia,

Since you mention that you have poor credit I think you should pass on the house for now. A good deal is only a good deal when the price is right AND the timing is right for you. It's likely that you'll resort to less desirable means, like credit cards or high-interest loans, to either partiallyfinance the house or pay for needed repairs. At that point you would negate the good deal you got on the purchase price with undesirable debt. I would wait until your credit is a little better.

Never feel like the good deal you're considering is the last good deal. Another one will always come along. Good Luck!
