Does it say anything like "by cashing this check you are agreeing to..."? If so, shred it! Otherwise, call them and find out why they sent it. There is no such thing as free money!

Good Luck!

I am constantly amazed when people like this think that for some reason, someone or some merchant is going to send them a wad of money for no reason. You cash/deposit that check, you are going to be feeling some financial pain. Tear it up and throw it away, or call yourself gullible otherwise.

I just received a letter from SHOPPERS MARKET RESEARCH from New York. The check was for $3,880 from VyStar Credit Union (issued by MoneyGram payment systems). Same BS as above"

Did you call VyStar to find out why they sent the check? Is it an advance on a personal line of credit? Do have any other relationship with Vystar?
