Is MissingMoney.com a scam? It was on CBS Early Show this morning

After seeing Missing Money being featured on CBS Early Show this morning, I went and searched for my name and state. It turned out that they are saying I have under $100 of unclaimed money in the state that I live in. Is MissingMoney.com legitimate or is it a scam? If any one used it before, please provide a review. Thanks.

My mom got money using this website! My grandmother had paid $0.25 a week when my mom was little for a whole life insurance policy, which my mom never knew about or claimed. She ended up getting a check for close to $1,000 last year! It definitely works.

I found out that I have money coming from a teacher retirement fund from a state that I worked in several years ago, and I am in the process of claiming it now. While researching that money, I found out that everyone in my family has missing money from forgotten stocks, life insurance policies, and an overpayment that none of them knew about. We are all now in the process of collecting our money. I hope they all work out successfully!

Wow! There are a lot of >$100 listings for my father, his mother, and his grandfather! I wonder how long it takes to get the money after you submit the form, though.

My Father's name came up on Missing Money.com. He is 85 and was rightly skeptical. Missing money had his name and address correctly.

I then checked the Kansas Treasures office web site for unclaimed money and came up with zip. I then called the Kansas Treasurer's office and found out that he did in fact have $19.38 coming even though their web site said he didn't.
