A number of schools run loan forgiveness programs for students who do public interest work after they graduate. It's worth asking the schools on your list if they offer this type of assistance (if you're interested in doing this kind of work.)

Most schools do not offer any kind of grant aid (scholarship or fellowship) for MBA students. Most of the money for MBAs is either in the form of federal education loans (Stafford and Grad PLUS) or in the form of employer tuition assistance (with a requirement that you continue to work for the employer after you receive the degree).

41.5% of MBA students got employer tuition assistance in 2007-08. 55.5% of MBA students borrowed for their education, with debt related to the MBA totaling $31,927 at graduation.

To learn about any MBA grants that match your profile, search for scholarships for free on www.FastWeb.com.
