Hi hyking7,

Alas, no. Whether it's credit card balance transfers or peer-to-peer lending sites, balance transfers are not automatically approved. If your credit is poor, it may be extremely difficult to get approval, particularly given the current global credit crisis.

I can testify to this first hand. Last year I tried to do a no-fee balance transfer with American express of a few hundred dollars, simply to remove a credit I had on that card. Despite no credit problems, a high score, and many years of perfect history with Amex, they turned me down flat.
