What are FiQ Points?
FiQ Points are your chance to show off how busy you’ve been on FiLife. FiQ Points will show on your profile page, and everyone can find out all-time and weekly FiQ leaders on the leaderboard.
As soon as you join the FiLife community, you'll start accumulating points. Watch your total keep rising as you ask and answer questions, create Stackers (and embed them on your own pages), and recommend FiLife to your friends.
Almost everything you do on the site can earn you a point (or more!), and as you build up your FiQ, you'll see your status rise through bronze, silver, and gold levels. You can also earn badges for exceptional work in specific areas, like forums and groups. Depending on your level and badges, you may get extra access around FiLife. And even better, in the future we'll offer prizes and online perks for certain members. FiQ Points never expire, so starting racking them up now.

What are levels?
Levels are a good way to see how experienced FiLife members are. As you pass certain benchmarks of FiQ Points, you'll see an automatic boost in your level. Levels appear as a colored bar below your user name or avatar, so other members can see your level anywhere you’ve been active on the site.
What about Personal Accreditations?
If you have an accreditation that you would like to submit for a badge such as CPA, CFA, ESQ, etc, please contact us.
What are badges?
Badges are awarded for exceptional members in specific areas. As you earn badges, you'll see the images appear in your profile. We'll keep adding new badges, and you can start working toward them by posting five reviews or answering ten questions.
There are a few hidden badges as well, so while you're searching the site and posting comments, you might learn more about some of the secret badges that are out there.
The more badges you earn, the more privileges you'll have on FiLife, and you can look forward to gifts and prizes in the future too.
