We have our mortgage and checking and savings with 1st Source Bank. We used to be with Standard Federal, but 1st Source Bank purchased them in Fort Wayne.
We loved Standard Federal because of the people and the excellent customer service. Fortunately for us, 1st Source Bank was wise enough to keep all the branch folks and continued to provide the same friendly, and knowledgeable service.
My favorite branch used to be New Haven, but Dupont has zoomed ahead with the most available branch manager who tells it like it is, John Del Vecchio (I hope I spelled his name correctly).
I even checked them out on Bauer's Financial rating website - they are rated 5-Stars for financial strength, so I know that my money is safe!
