Adirondack Bank offers free personal and business checking accounts. They have no minimum balance. Your only cost will be your checks. Adirondack Bank is a local bank with friendly, helpful personnel. Their online banking is very convenient and allows you to have all your accounts in one login. Transfers from one account to another online take two clicks and you're done. If you're in upstate NY, I highly recommend this bank.
