The options that all state have are very affordable.

They force you to use their shop when you have an auto claim plus have low limits on how much they'll pay. As for the personal agent, they do not even return a call - atleast mine does not.

I have annuities through Allstate for myself and my sons due to the death of my husband. When it came time for payments of the lump sums, they delayed, delayed and delayed. Mine was a month late (despite their having my direct deposit information for 3+ years) and my son's still has yet to be received. It was due 2 weeks ago. Allstate makes a lot of promises (like my son getting his money direct deposited by last Friday or today) - now they say instead of the direct deposit, it was mailed again... last Friday... Like everyone says RUN ... if only I had known 10 years ago when I set this all up!

Liars, criminals, I thought I was "in good hands" until my house burned to the ground! They will do what ever it takes to deny, delay, and hope you just go away! Don't walk - run away from this company!!!!

I have been with Allstate for 12 years. Their agents are fantastic. However, when you actually NEED Allstate, it's a joke. I was recently in my first accident ever (after 12 yrs of a clean record) and it was not even my fault. Their adjustors are HORRIBLE! The first one they appointed me had absolutely no idea what he was doing and kept calling me about 6 times a day when I was severely injured in a neck brace and constantly dizzy from head trauma. The next adjustor I had was a word I can't say (but it starts with a B) and was the most condescending & rude person I have ever talked to in my life. They're supposed to be on my side. What the heck am I paying them for??? Once this claim is closed, I'm switching insurance companies. They're horrible. Too bad because the agents are awesome.

Allstate is not you're newly popular 800 number. I love having a personal agent. The rate you are paying signifies the typ of service you are getting. I don't mind paying a little extra just to have the peace and mind of being in good hands

I do not like AllState! I was hit by one of their policy holders and its taken over a month to get this resolved. They ask me whats the big deal that I havnt recieved the check to fix it just take it to the shop. Well if I would have done as they say than my car would have been sitting at the shop fixed for a month all because they drag there feet so bad, They are a horrible customer service company always telling me "sir there is nothing I can do for you" and when I say send me to someone who can they say "there is no one that can help you" All in all its been a total BS trip and I still dont have my car fixed. I would never recommened anyone to them and I am glad I dont have them as my insurer. I had progressive they told me on day one that it was the other parties fault and where going to fix my car. I didnt want to pay my deductable if I didnt have to and maybe I should have. If I did my car would be fixed!! NEVER EVER DEAL WITH ALLSTATE

No chance. My wife and I have perfect driving records but Allstate raised our car AND home owners insurance because we were late on "one-1" payment, not even an Allstate payment, in 25 years. Raised our rates over $500. Was told to write my congressman by AS. 25 years with AS and this is their thanks.

Allstate offers a wide variety of options and their agents are very friendly and able to answer all my questions. I never knew Allstate could help out...I thought they were just home/auto
