I was not happy at all with Ameriprise. The adviser would call me in to meet with him, and drone on with boring conversation -- mere chit-chat to waste time. I didn't even realize I was being charged for a financial planning consultation, all the while getting no information and being bored by uninteresting conversation about life in general.

Furthermore, the amount of fees and "contract charges" that were deducted from my account were never explained, seemed arbitrary, and far exceeded what some interest or profit I made on the investments in which my money was placed. I am leaving them. I feel a bit like I've been scammed. I NOT work with Ameriprise.
