The Bank of New York Mellon Reviews
The Bank of New York Mellon hires people that will personally write insults from their business accounts and provide no recourse for their unprofessional behavior. Enclosed please find an actual email from one of their employees (Christopher Bailey).
"I should have figured when you were not able to provide a strait answer to my inquiry."
"Apparently you’re a bastard. The two people whom I’ve contacted in the real estate market that know of you provided such unflattering comments, so quickly, and so vehemently that hope I never breathe the same air as you. What on earth you could have done to provoke such a response I can not imagine. A simple web search confirmed as much."
The funny part about this is that Christopher Bailey contacted me for service regarding property management and I kindly tried to answer his questions before he sent me this email as well as another rude email. I was very insulted and I kindly tried to explain to him in another email that the information provided on the internet about me was obviously "fake and written by a jealous competitor" that their were no real names provided and anyone with any common sense could tell they were poorly written and an obvious hoax. Christopher Bailey did not respond to my email in any manner.
Furthermore, I then contacted their company and they ignored me after several attempts to reach them. Finally, a spokesperson for the company contacted me and they said they would investigate this but ultimately she said that they would handle it internally and how they would handle it is "confidential."
The woman's response was equally as rude and all I mentioned to her was that I wanted a sincere apology and that I at least deserved that - but alas to this day I have yet to receive an apology from Christopher Bailey.
In summary, I think it is important to realize that if this is the way The Bank of New York Mellon let's it employees write and say whatever they feel like through company emails it speaks volumes towards the way the organization is run and most likely the management behind this incident.
As a CEO running 5 different companies with over 130 people reporting to me I want to let everyone know that if an employee working for me wrote such harsh words to a customer they would be fired from our organization. Enclosed please find my full name and direct number so that I can prove to everyone that this is indeed a real complaint not some conjured up statement on a rouge website.
Sincerely,
Demetrios Salpoglou
