California Bear credit union started its operations in the year 1933. The credit union has had many mergers in its history one among them was with South Bear State Employees credit Union in 1983. California Bear Credit Union has extended its operations by adding select employer groups like Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Services and All American Home Centers. It has over $120 million in assets and 18,000 members. California Bear Credit Union has two branches in the Los Angeles, California area.
