I've been a customer for over 8 years. I got an offer years ago for 4.9%, so I took my son's college loans and transferred because of this low APR. It went up to 7.9% last year for no apparent reason. Yesterday received my bill and it went up to 17.9%. I always pay several $100 over my min. payment. I just took out a loan for over $25K from my 401K rather than pay their ridiculous rates. I feel sorry for those people that have no other recourse and will have to pay this rate for years to come. I've told my wife that we will never, ever do business with CapitalOne again. Beware !!!!
