Celtic is THe WORST INSURANCE you could ever have. It is better not to have one. I paid over $3,000. in less that ten months for my son who is in college. They did not even want to pay the 200 payment to the doctor consultation. They denied every claim, and their customer service people are rude and disrespectful. Stay away from them.
I tried to not even give these guys a single star- but it's required.
RUN AWAY! Choose anyone- ANYONE- else for your insurance. I have had nothing but run-arounds, misleading and unspecific responses to claims. It has taken them over three months to review a claim about varicose veins, and when I received the final letter with the decision, it was filled with evasive "medical director" opinions, finishing with "the approval for this procedure requires the surgery to take place within 6 months..." But guess what? when the bills came, they said they never approved it.
Their customer service on the phone is rude, their letters claimed that I am not and "ordinarily prudent person".

Awful. They hung my pregnant wife, 7 year old son, and unborn daughter out to dry when they found out our daughter was going to be born with a heart defect. They said it was because of a technically wrong answer on the application 7 months earlier. It took them months to file the claims and then they dropped us instead of paying any of it. This is the worst Insurance Company I have ever dealt with.
