I have been a member of DOCO Regional Federal Credit Union for a number of years and experienced excellent service. In these days of economic struggles I feel much more confident in the financial stability of my credit union versus that of a bank. Credit Unions are more strictly regulated by the National Credit Union Administrion, a government regulatory agency created specilfically for credit union, than banks are by the FDIC and typically do not participate in the risky lending practicies that have caused financial hardships for many banks. In today's economy I would not trust my money or financial business anywhere but at a credit union.
