I have an automated payment arranged between my checking and 5/3 MC debit/credit card account. Somehow, they decided that my payment was late, so they gave me a finance charge that was not quite double the original payment due. I found out about it from a compterized message call from 5/3, and arranged for a transfer payment during that call. The next day, I received a letter from them indicating that they lowered my credit limit on the account, AND notified the credit bureau. The previous phone call/message indicated that they might notify the credit bureau. Right! I went online and transferred more than what was required toward that account. Here it is Tuesday morning, and they still can not get the transactions straightened out, especially the phoned-in transfer.
Now it's affecting my credit rating, too? An e-mail message indicated that I could always cancel my debit /credit card. I'm working on more than that!
I had an auto-debit to an online social membership that was supposed to be cancelled, which also contributed to the problem, but that's another story.
These people suck! A higher rate of attention??? No--a higher rate of idiots!
