We're a small merchant and 5/3 processes our charge cards. Recently we had three overseas sales and we took absolutely every precaution on the charge card transactions. 5/3 approved all of the sales as did Visa International, the cards issuing bank, as well as the 5/3 Fraud Department. Then the customer tried to scam the bank and, even though we provided an absolutely perfect paper trail, 5/3 took over $10,000 from our account without warning! In our minds, this is wire fraud on the part of 5/3 as they in effect suckered us along with their approvals! We are proceeding on those grounds of fraud by 5/3 and will seek redress! Merchants beware of 5/3's approval process!!!
