Their service and practices are terrible. They have actually let my wife cash a check when funds were not available and did not inform her. I went into the bank to discuss getting the NSF fee reverse since we had another checking account at IBC that she could have drafted funds from, if she had been told. Their response was it is the customer responsiblity to know how much money is in their account. I asked well what about customer service. Got the same response word for word.

Ibc bank is the worst bank ever. i will nor any of my friends or family continue to bank here. they have falsely charged me 120.00 in overdraft fees over the past month with a balance of 1800.00 and about 1200.00 in saving. they say i had a negative balance and by none of my records or online banking records do they show this. they refuse to refund my money i am warning all of you.

This is in response to the treatment I have received at IBC. This is only one instance of bad customer relations. This is the time that has “broke the camel’s back” so to speak.

I have done a cut and paste below to show you what your policy in writing is online. The statement below is in reference to trying to do a stop pay for an ACH transaction. In writing it says I have to go to an IBC location.
The reality is different: I called, made arrangements to come in at lunch, sign papers to do a stop pay.
I called back within 30 minutes to say I was not coming in; I did not need the stop pay, I was going to deposit money to cover my duplicate ACH car payment, which I had done in error. My new car was financed at a different bank as I had tried for 8 months to get financing from IBC but was continually turned down.
Now you are saying I owe for the stop pay. You faxed me a stop pay cancel authorizations to sign saying you needed it to reduce IBC liability. Now I know you were lying again. And you charged my account.

I asked for a refund of the charge and you say that a IBC employee can make their own choice as to
Whether or not they do a stop pay over the phone. This fax to you will also be a letter to IBC bank officials at any and all locations I can find, plus I am putting a blog online regarding IBC policies and their ability to lie to customers, and charge whenever they feel like, regardless of policies that are in writing. I am going to let everyone online and thru email know the IBC policies are made up according to IBC employees “feelings” not what is in writing.

A fee of $10.00 will be assessed to your account.

You have failed miserably at customer service
