I placed a stop payment on a check and 6 months later renewed it. The check was cashed at my bank no questions asked almost one year after the original stop payment to the same payee. The manager, Beth, was very difficult to talk to and told me it was not their problem. I am out the money and they say it is my problem. Customer service????????????. They did not even question the check dated a year ago with a stop payment on file to this payee
