Have not really had any problems out of paypal yet. This system seems like the cyber answer to savings accounts and paperless transactions.

i like paypal very much. paypal is very useful shopping online. most of the online shopping site supports paypal. the transaction process in paypal is very easy and creating account on paypal is also free. i have heard alot about paypal account "frozen" issue. this really disappoint me alot. they really should do something to get the solution of this problem.

I agree about the security. Anyone who knows your e-mail address has you user ID. I've had a paypal account for three years and can't remember being prompted to change my password.
When times were good and interest rates were high, I kept a bit of cash in my Paypal account because they paid a high interest rate. But I took it out now because Paypal accounts are not FDIC insured.
Paypal is great to use when I make a purchase online from an unknown retailer, for eBay transactions, and for transferring money to family members outside of the USA.
I've been a PayPal user for many years now, even before it was eBay's property. It still amazes me how, to this day, they allow not strong enough passwords to be used as the account password. They really need to focus on their user's security.
Other than that, I can say that I'm pleased with their service.

I love it. I use ebay frequently, and it proves to be the easiest method of payment. It's simple to use, and has some very interesting and useful features. I also enjoy the ease of being able to pay from many websites directly through my paypal account. It's a great resource, and I've only ever encountered a few problems, all of which have turned out to be minor, and not even worth mentioning.
I have used Paypal both as a business and as a consumer. There have been times where my account was "frozen" for no reason with thousands of dollars in it, then they asked me to fax in a bunch of stuff and took a long time to get my account and money back. The fact that they can lock up my money at any time is just bothersome to me. Now, I just keep what I need in the account and transfer our larger sums to my bank ASAP.
