This review is from TD Bank
OK, I have been with Commerce Bank for 5 years. I say Commerce Bank cause thats who I signed my account agreement with.
This system merger and policy changes are in fact iffy.
So 2 weeks ago I overdrafted because they posted a transaction twice (go figure). I called and they said $35 for the fee, but they reversed it after like an hour.
I asked what the new policy was on overdraft since I have been out of the country for 2 months. They told me that all transaction can overdraft and I can opt out, I didn't....
So this sunday I had $77 in m account and I charged $143... thinking, OK so lets try this new policy and I will be in negative $66 with $35 fee so I will be negative $101 till thurs when I deposit some cash...
So since I made that last charge for $143 at the end of sunday and have not touched my account since then....
Oh yeah during sunday I made 5 transactions for less than 6$ each.
Everything posted Monday 11/2... they posted largest to smallest. So all 6 transactions overdrafted... since the 5 were small they posted the $143 first leaving me at approx negative $30. so when all the 5 trans hit.. it kept enlarging my negative...
end of story... $210 in overdraft fees.
Like I said, I have been out of the country for 2 months, so I have not been able to read any policy changes. But I do have internet access... tdbank.com does not have the new policy and the overdraft fee says $15 in their fee schedule.
and this is after having customer service point me to the PDF's.
they didn't want to credit me the fees... because they say I should have been more informed... from who? i am asking them for the policy changes online and nothing!
