In 1935, it received a federal charter and insurance of accounts, and the name was changed to First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Lincoln. In 1995, a federal savings bank charter was granted, and the institution became First Federal Lincoln Bank, after which in 2002, the bank became TierOne Bank. TierOne Bank has assets of over $3.4 billion and offers customers a wide variety of full-service consumer, commercial and agricultural banking products and services through a network of 69 banking offices located in Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas and 10 loan production offices located in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, Nevada and North Carolina.
