I have been waiting almost 5 months for benefits to be honored. I had a crown (which is covered under my plan), but instead of paying the claim, they keep requesting more and more information. We (me or my dentist) provide the additional information they are seeking and their response is to seek even more, often unrelated, information. I am caught in a cycle and while my claim has not been denied, they have not paid it in a timely manner and, in my opinion, their delaying tactics border on bad faith. What a disgrace.
