Remember that commercial about the guy who founded The Boston Beer Company, makers of Sam Adams Beer? http://tr.im/pD2e "Beer is my life." Admit it, you thought that guy had the best job ever, right? I certainly did. But then, I saw the commercial again and realized his job is not Beer QA, but founder. That means that (while yes) he gets to taste the beer a lot, he also has to answer to shareholders (ticker: SAM), he has to worry about balance sheets, the price of raw materials, profit margins, HR issues, and on, and on and on.

This group is to discuss, punch holes in, and define dream jobs. Let's get to it.

Tell me, I really want to know. If the next email/phone call you received was from someone who could make your dream job a reality, then what would it be?
My standard line is that if I could do it all over again, I would have been born into old money. Well, that's not a job, that's a lifestyle.
Job? I guess it would have to be either horse racing expert for a national media entity (http://tr.im/pDb9) or the Chief Operating Officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated (http://tr.im/pDbp).
Of course, there's always rock icon (http://tr.im/pDcr). Hey, if we're dreaming, then why not?
