General Community Rules

We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

What’s an offensive post?

1. While we encourage healthy debate, we will not tolerate rudeness, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts.
2. Advertising, spamming, trolling, posting notices for contests is not allowed. This includes using the forum, your profile, and article/guides comments to spam other members.
3. Affiliate links, referral links or posts asking for a referral are not allowed.
4. Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
5. Posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate FiLife community standards are not allowed. FiLife is the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
6. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts.

Multiple posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.

Registering with multiple login accounts is not allowed.

Advertising services and solicitation is prohibited.

1. We do not allow people to post threads advertising or soliciting any products, services, funds or donations.
2. Explicit advertising and solicitation in your profile or in the Q&A section is prohibited.

We reserve the right to remove offensive avatars without notice.

1. Avatars that may be confused with official FiLife staff avatars are not allowed.
2. Impersonating a company or a representative of a company is not allowed.
3. Use of the FiLife logo in avatars is not allowed.
4. Use of a FiLife level, badge, or any other element of FiQ points in avatars is not allowed.

Use of distasteful avatars is not allowed and up to the discretion of the FiLife team.

A few more:

• While our forum rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure the forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
• We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to FiLife is a privilege and not a right.
• And we reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.
