Do your friends consider you a personal finance expert? Do you have great money saving tips to share? Are you a whiz at traveling on a budget? FiLife, in partnership with The Wall Street Journal, is looking for professionals, experts and writers to add their voices to our community.
FiLife offers contributors a platform to showcase their knowledge and share ideas. Your articles will appear alongside top financial journalists from The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and MarketWatch.

FiLife is looking for great guides on a host of personal finance topics, as well as articles and commentary on current money trends.
There are several different guide formats you can use:
- Complete Guide – An extensive run through a topic, such as How to Invest in a Mutual Fund or Should You Buy Car Insurance? (500 words or more)
- Quick Guide – Answers a specific personal finance question such as Using Mortgage Points to Lower Your Payments or What is a Secured Credit Card? (300 words or more)
- Questions to Ask – Questions to ask when signing up for a service or product. See examples. (300 words or more)
Articles come in all shapes and sizes and can range from quick money saving tips to your take on national financial news and politics. On the web, attention spans are short – even for the best writers - so be concise and to the point. See some recent article examples at FiLife here.
Great articles and guides will be featured and promoted at FiLife.
