Ezra Kucharz, President & General Manager

Ezra Kucharz is the President and General Manager for FiLife. Prior to being appointed in December 2008, Mr. Kucharz was Executive Vice President, North American Online Operations & Global Online Platforms of Oberon Media in May 2007. Oberon Media is the world’s largest online distributor of casual games. Before Oberon, Ezra was Chief Operating Officer of NBC Universal’s iVillage Properties. He served in a number of leadership roles on NBC Universal’s corporate staff, re-launching NBC Universal’s cross-company digital business in 2004.

Before joining NBC Universal, Ezra was the Managing Director of Advanced Media at the United States Tennis Association where he launched the governing body’s digital business. In 1995, Kucharz founded and served as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Total Sports, a digital sports media and marketing company that provided integrated media and marketing solutions to organizations invested in sports. Prior, Kucharz held a variety of positions in the Space Flight Medical Operations Branch at the NASA/Johnson Space Center. He was also a commissioned Army Officer and was assigned to the US Army Reserve.

Kucharz holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston University, a Master of Engineering Management from the University of Houston and a Master of Science from Duke University.

Saralyn Bass, VP of Marketing

Saralyn is passionate about digital marketing and social media. She recently joined FiLife as the Vice President of Marketing. Previously, Saralyn worked on several IAC businesses including Garage Games (www.InstantAction), named one of Fast Company’s most innovative game companies; Gifts.com and IAC Consumer Applications & Portals. Her financial services experience includes Citibank and Datek. Saralyn studied Economics at Swarthmore College and received her MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. Saralyn lives in Irvington-on-the-Hudson with her husband and two children.

Erin Mulvey, VP of Finance & Strategy

Erin joined FiLife in July 2007 as the Vice President of Finance and Strategy. Prior to FiLife, Erin was the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at IAC, where she oversaw the financial health of IAC businesses such as Ask.com and Lendingtree.com, and provided financial and strategic analysis in support of IAC corporate decisions. Prior to IAC, Erin was an Associate Director at UBS in the Telecommunications Investment Banking group, where she worked on numerous M&A, restructuring and financing transactions for emerging telecommunications businesses. Erin graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Finance from Villanova University.

Dominic Preuss, VP of Product Development

Dominic is a Technologist and Entrepreneur who is in charge of product management at FiLife. Prior to FiLife, Dominic was the Vice President of Marketplace at Meetup, a leading social media company based in New York City. He was also the Product Manager for Local Advertising at Google where he was responsible for the Google’s local advertising product strategy and monetization of its location-based services. Dominic holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. Dominic currently resides in the West Village of New York City.

Robert Tucker, VP of Revenue

Robert joined FiLife in November 2009. Prior to FiLife Robert was the Senior Director of Advertising and Sponsorships for Oberon Media. Oberon Media is the largest distributor of casual games. While at Oberon, Robert built the advertising and sponsorship department from the ground floor up, the department included a sales team, advertising operations and product development.Robert has been involved in the online space since 2001. Before taking the plunge in the online world, Robert worked for Florida Citrus Sports in Orlando, Florida. While at Florida Citrus Sports Robert was responsible for managing over 10 annual events around the New Year’s Day Capital One Bowl. Robert holds a BA degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from Pace University. Robert currently resides in South Bellmore, Long Island with his wife and two kids

Kevin Van Lenten, VP of Sales

Kevin joined FiLife in July 2008 and oversees the day to day sales efforts and to ensure that consumers on FiLife have the best products and companies to choose from. Prior to FiLife, Kevin was the VP of Sales at ExchangePlace, an online lead generation marketplace focusing on fortune 500 clients. During his tenure at ExchangePlace Kevin helped to facilitate consumer sales leads to leading insurance, mortgage and healthcare companies. He also helped incubate new means of developing high qualified and verified leads working with the likes of Prudential, Liberty Mutual, Mutual of Omaha and Liberty Medical. Prior to ExchangePlace, Kevin held senior sales positions at Blue Lithium and Conducive Corp. Throughout his career he has had the good fortune to work with some of the best brands and agencies in achieving their online media initiatives. Kevin has a BA from Muhlenberg College in PA and resides in Northern Jersey with his wife and English bulldog.

Adam Wiener, Executive Editor and VP of Content & Community Operations

Adam has been Executive Producer at a major news site (CBSNews.com), General Manager of a health network, SVP of Search, Commerce and Business Development for a large digital entity (iVillage/NBCU Digital) and Chief Operating Officer of a start-up (driverTV.com). Through all these diverse experiences, Adam says he learned one thread was constant: the audience of each was obsessed with their wallets. His goal: Make FiLife the place where those folks share personal finance thoughts and learn. Oh, Adam was born in Coney Island (no, not under the Cyclone), lives in Manhattan with his massage therapist wife, has a Journalism BA from URI, and loves the sport of kings.
