There are no fees associated with opening a fixed or variable rate IRA. The bank offers various IRA's - Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, and Education IRA. A Traditional Individual Retirement Account (IRA) is a government approved, tax-deferred savings program that enables set aside a portion of income each year for the purpose of investing in retirement. The Roth IRA is a nondeductible account that features tax-free withdrawals at the required age and for certain distribution reasons after a five-year holding period. The Education IRA is a nondeductible account that features tax-free withdrawals for a very specific purpose.
