It can provide Debt Security, which can cancel 5% of your monthly GE Money Platinum card balance of up to $10,000 if an unexpected problem hits - like unemployment or serious illness. Also available is Identity Theft Protection, which lets GE Money experts regularly check your credit and are there to help if your identity is stolen.
