The PNC Bank Visa Check cards can be used to withdraw or deposit money at ATMs or to purchase items. They're used like a credit card, but the amount "charged" is actually deducted from your checking account. They can also be used to earn extra points (if you enroll in the Visa Extras program). Details of each transaction appear on your monthly checking account statement. PNC Bank also offers specialty Affinity Check Cards, which are the same as traditional check cards, but come with your choice of one of 11 different designs depicting sports teams, universities, or causes, for a $10 annual fee.
