SunTrust offers three basic types of Visa credit cards for customers. Two allow you to earn SunPoints for purchases, which you can redeem for rewards. The other offers no SunPoints, but has a lower interest rate: 0% for purchases made in the first six month then a 9.99% to 14.99% interest rate, compared to 12.99% to 15.99% for the rewards cards.
