Term Life Insurance protects your beneficiaries from the unexpected loss of income and helps cover debts you may owe after your death. It is purchased for a certain amount of time; at the end of the term, you can renew your policy but at a new, higher rate. Whole Life Insurance offers you many of the same benefits, but insures you for your entire life.
