Valley National Bank's Traditional, Roth and Education IRAs can help customers meet their future savings goals. Each Valley IRA offers different benefits that will apply to each individual differently depending on their financial situation. The bank's Traditional IRA is a tax-deferred investment that may allow customers to contribute up to $4000 annually if they are under age 50 and $5000 annually if age 50 or over, but under age 701/2 or until retirement. The Roth IRA allows customers to contribute up to $4000 annually if they are under age 50 and $5000 annually if they are age 50 or over. Contributions can be made at any age and are not tax-deductible. The bank's Educational IRA is designed to help fund a child's higher education expenses. Contributions up to $2000 can be made up to the child's 18th birthday.
