Short-Term Disability Insurance from Aflac Insurance
Aflac Short-Term Disability Insurance allows for customers to be paid out for every day that they are disabled. This disablity policy stays with the customer if he or she switches jobs. The benefit is paid directly to the customer with the Aflac short term disability insurance policy, unless otherwise requested, no matter which insurance the customer has.
Short-Term Disability Insurance Reviews
Allen Jones, Texas? Maybe I would like to talk to you. I am having a nightmare with CIGNA short term disability.

I live in Arizona and had GREAT service. Maybe it's worse if you're in a big city, but agents with tons of work who can't remember who you are will always be a problem regardless of who you get insurance from. My mom had this issue with Blue cross years ago.
Also, @ enchntdforest2: of course you have to PAY for your insurance regardless of whether or not you work. DUH!!! I've never heard of an insurance company that doesn't require getting paid for the coverage they provide, unless you have a policy where your disability waives payment (which Aflac ALSO has).
To my knowledge, Aflac is great at paying policies.
I have had three Aflac policies for several years now, including accident, disablity, and life. Originally bought them at a group rate when my company offered it to us, which is good discount vs buying directly from the company (and I get the keep the GROUP rates if I leave my job and go somewhere else). I am not disabled or dead (YET!), but we did receive about $4200 when my husband's leg was shattered at his other job last year (he was on my accident policy). The money really helped us!

Most expensive rates in the Industry. Worst in customer service.
HR people hate the billing problems, employees hate the 35 minute hold times on the phone.

Rates go up or down by what level of product you are offering and industry codes.... Since your a "benefitsrep" you should have probally known that... Which means your a flat out liar or a rookie. We have been copied by other companys for decades and when you compare products we by far pay out the best benefits for the price. Everything with the customer service, billing, wait times, ect are you having a bad experience with an Agent who should be taking care of those things for the company. For that on behalf of AFLAC... Im sorry. Take care

I am sorry for the two last folks that have had a bad AFLAC rep.. Any one I have ever sold a policy to has never had to call headquarters or file a claim on their own. I give out my cell, my fax, and my office number for my policyholders to call or fax ME! Call the person in charge of HR at your place of employment and tell them to get rid of that agent..! It can be done no matter the size of the company.
