I live in Arizona and had GREAT service. Maybe it's worse if you're in a big city, but agents with tons of work who can't remember who you are will always be a problem regardless of who you get insurance from. My mom had this issue with Blue cross years ago.

Also, @ enchntdforest2: of course you have to PAY for your insurance regardless of whether or not you work. DUH!!! I've never heard of an insurance company that doesn't require getting paid for the coverage they provide, unless you have a policy where your disability waives payment (which Aflac ALSO has).

To my knowledge, Aflac is great at paying policies.

I have had three Aflac policies for several years now, including accident, disablity, and life. Originally bought them at a group rate when my company offered it to us, which is good discount vs buying directly from the company (and I get the keep the GROUP rates if I leave my job and go somewhere else). I am not disabled or dead (YET!), but we did receive about $4200 when my husband's leg was shattered at his other job last year (he was on my accident policy). The money really helped us!
