Fortunately I've never had to file a claim so I can't comment on that aspect of my AIG insurance. Customer service, however, has been great. I signed up through an independent agent. I've been with them for going on four years now. Recently I bought a new car and my agent was very helpful when I switched the coverage over. Another time I lost my proof of insurance card, called the office and they quickly mailed out a replacement.

I had AIG for years. They are horrible. I had a very hard time getting an agent to call me back after an accident and they drag their feet on reimbursement. Needless to say, we don't have them anymore.

Had a really hard time filing my claim. It was hard to get in touch with an agent even though it was a small claim. The policy in theory is good but the customer service is bad
