My father died in June and the last few weeks of his life were spent fighting Allstate. My father had Leukemia and part of his treatment included blood transfusions wich were covered up to $10,000.Allstate refused saying he was getting the blood for anemia, not Leukemia. They also refused to pay the benefits for his last week in the hospital because they said he died of cardiac arrest.(I did not matter that his DC said cardiac arrest brought on by Accute Leukemia. We have calculated that Allstate owes my mother approximately $30,000. We have hired a lawfirm and we are in the process of suing Allstate.
