AllState Renters Insurance provides protection against covered loss to movable personal property. Replacement cost coverage—the total amount you will be reimbursed for the cost you incur to replace your damaged contents with similar, brand new property—is subject to the terms and conditions of the particular policy.
We haven't had any significanat issues, but the price is a bit high for what we're getting. We're seriously considering changing companies because we're unable to get earthquake coverage, which would be useful where we live.

I had renters insurance from allstate, and pipes broke in the apartment I was in. They had an adjuster come over within 24 hours and the cheque within another 24 hours... excellent service. They even went so far as to find out price values of certain things that I couldn't (i.e. old books). They paid full replacement value, not just what it was worth at the time.
It was easy to get this renters insurance and i got it for a reasonable cost. the customer service was also very helpful
