If your debit card number is stolen and used to make a purchase, Amegy will not give you credit for the stolen funds back to your account for 10 business days! If the transaction causes your account to be overdrawn, they still charge you overdraft fees even if you reported the transaction before it cleared! This happened to me and I have changed to a bank that credits the money back to your account by the following business day.
