American Century offers several types of accounts through its brokerage services division. You can open a Standard account with a minimum of $2,500 initial investment, and the account comes with check writing privileges. The bank's Access account, which requires an initial investment of $10,000, comes with checking the bank also offers traditional IRAs, ROTH IRAs and SEP-IRAs.
American Century has everything you need when it comes to sound investing and were incredibly professional in dealing with them. I ultimately went with their ROTH IRA because it gives me the flexibility I need of being able to withdrawal my contributions anytime without worry of taxes or fees.
