Have been a customer of Ameriprise for years, since when they were still a part of Amex. their preimum is super low, and despite getting car insurance quotes from other provides every now and then, no one was able to beat their rate. on the down side, the lousy claim service of theirs needs improvement badly. when i had no accidents, everything was perfect. but then i rear-ended someone's car and the claim got a LONG time to settle. i had to pay out of pocket and eventually be reimbursed. good thing is, customer service (not claim services) is great, making changes to the policy is super easy. overall, they are a good and cheap car insurance provider and i don't think i would switch to any other company in the near future unless someone can beat their low premium.

I use Ameriprise through Costco and the rates are great. The service through the call center has been friendly and thorough.
