I opened a high interest money market account from AmTrust Bank online because they offered attractive rates. It was easy to do and so far, I have not had any problems. However, I am disturbed that when logging on to your secure account, you must enter your social security number as your login. I think that is really DANGEROUS in this day and age of identiy theft. I've tried to ask them to change it, but their policy is to use social security numbers for the account holder's login. Other than that, I'm happy with the service, although their rates have dropped considerably (as have everyone else's).

So far i have had a good experience with AmTrust. I feel safe with my money and a money market account and received a great interest rate. I just wish they had an online site that was easier to use
