You must be 55 or older to open an Associated Bank Classic Checking Account. The account comes with free online banking and bill pay, overdraft protection, and a Platinum MasterCard Check Card. You also get a 20 percent discount on safe deposit box rental. To avoid monthly maintenance charges, you must maintain a $1,000 minimum daily balance or have combined Associated Bank average monthly deposit account balances of $5,000 or more.

This is the checking account geared towards Seniors from Associated. It's pretty standard, the minus is that unless you keep the required balance, albeit a low $1000, you'll get charged $11 which they call "discounted" with this account. You get small other discounts here and there, as well as all of the basic banking features you'd expect.
