Worst company to do business with. I have a 403B and took a loan out against it. Aviva failed to process papers for automatic draft that was signed for loan and 6 months later they want me to pay lump sum amount. When I could not pay it lump sum and I asked if I could start the monthly payments via auto draft as they should have been done and they refused placing me in default. They have my money and I cannot touch it until I retire.

I am stuck with this company that I have grown to despise. I understand that they no longer handle 403b's (Wonder why?).

Their products are head and shoulders above the rest. They offer guaranteed returns riders as high as 7.2% annually. In this current economy I can't see doing much better than that while taking zero market risk. A good choice for those in and nearing retirement.
