I like the account because they are very flexible with overdraft protection. Recently the overdraft fee was increased but, aside from the fee, they will cover your check if you miscalculate. Another plus is their online service. I can check my account balance easily. Banco Popular does not mail back canceled checks with your statement but you can view the front/back of the check online.

This is Banco's interest checking account available to virtually everyone. The rates aren't anything great, but then again it is just a checking account. If you've got direct deposit to ensure that you'll be making regular deposits, this account is a good deal.
