I have a "Popular Savings" account through Banco popular. The rates aren't anything fantastic, but you have pretty easy access to your money. So, for me, it makes more sense to keep most of my money in this savings account than in a checking. I've gotten hit by the maintenance fee a few times, but it's just $4 so no biggie.
