Anyone with a Bank of America personal checking account can sign up for this check card that lets you earn miles at Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air while you spend. You earn one mile for every $2 in purchases, and one mile for ever $1 spent at Alaska Airlines/ Horizon Air. Other perks include a one-time 3,000 mile bonus when you make your first purchase and an annual 1,000 mile bonus for keeping the check card open. The card operates like a traditional check card: it withdraws funds straight from your checking account and doesn't involve interest rates. It does have an annual fee of $30 a year though.
